Blue Care has been providing compassionate care to people in need for over 50 years and has grown from humble beginnings to become one of Australia’s largest providers of community health and residential aged care services. Each year we care for one in 30 Queenslanders through Blue Nursing, allied health services, respite care, disability services, residential aged care, community aged care packages, palliative care, and pastoral care and support. Blue Care provides the high quality care and is committed to being flexible and innovative in meeting client’s needs. With over 260 centres across Queensland and northern New South Wales and growing services to rural and remote communities Blue Care makes a significant contribution to the social infrastructure of Queensland.

Blue Care is one of the State’s largest non-government employers. Our dedicated and committed workforce of over 8,500 full time, part time and casual workers are employed in a wide range of occupations and professions. As a major not-for-profit organisation and an outreach of the Uniting Church in Australia, Queensland Synod, Blue Care is also assisted by over 3,000 volunteers, who generously give of their time, knowledge, and skills to make sure our clients come first.
