King’s Christian College was founded in 1980 by a group of committed parents seeking a Christian education for their children. King’s has come a long way from that first class of 23 primary school students to a school of almost 1500 today, and is now the largest Christian School in Australia.
Throughout those years, King’s has remained true to its original vision. Our Mission Statement is to ‘Educate Students in Christian Leadership for Tomorrow’s Generation.’ We work on the philosophy that every student can be a leader in his or her field, and the aim is to produce graduates who will influence their generation in whatever area of endeavour they pursue.
We believe that development of character is a key to a successful life. Programs at King’s are aimed to develop the academic, social, creative, spiritual, emotional and physical growth of students. A cornerstone of school life is the student’s growing personal relationship with God. We believe this is the most important issue students will face in their life. King’s staff are carefully chosen, not only for their qualifications and experience in their particular role, but also in their ability to provide a Christian role model to students.
