Geography
North Coast Area Health Service covers an area of 35,570 square kilometres extending from Port Macquarie in the south to Queensland in the north and westward to the Great Dividing Range.



Population
NCAHS includes 12 Local Government Areas and has the fastest growing population of any Area Health Service in New South Wales. The population is projected to increase to 505,360 people by 2011.
