Staff members are provided with a staff email address and internet and intranet access is available at every desk. Academic staff are provided with a laptop and remote access to the College intranet is available from home.
Pymble is a community of continuous learners and we encourage the continuous professional development of all staff. New staff are assisted through our Induction and Mentoring programs which provide ongoing support for orientation into the College, and regular staff social events encourage socialising within and between departments.
Employees are rewarded with above award salary rates, recognition for years of service, additional leave provisions, salary packaging options, employer superannuation contributions of 10%, and access to the PLC Superannuation Plan.
The community of staff at Pymble are further supported by being provided with subsidised flu vaccinations each year. The on-site Bookroom provides all stationary and textbook needs and there are Justices of the Peace on staff to assist staff members when necessary.
Overall, the employment experience at Pymble Ladies’ College follows the philosophy that:
“The quality of a school can never be better than the quality of staff... it stands to reason, therefore, that people in schools, both teachers and non-teachers, remain the institution’s most valuable resource”
